Although the subject of the film ‘Om’ is underworld, it is a continuous money spinner in Kannada filmdom. None of the other biggies films in Kannada cinema history got released for 550 times in the long history of 20 years. This film was locked in censor battle when it was released first. There was threat calls to the censor members too. The film was finally approved by Kannada audience and there is nothing like that acceptance.

A money spinner even today is not sold for any television channel. The power of century star Shivarajakumar, director Upendra, Prema, Dr Rajakumar banner was responsible for materializing to this effect.

On March 12, the film is releasing in over 100 theatres with DI and 5.1 sound technology and craze remains. This is the first authentic subject on rowdy activity in Karnataka. Some of the real life rowdies have also appeared in this film.

Kishor Films is distributing this film. It is releasing in Movieland theatre as main theatre. It is of course shown in Multiplex with latest addition of technology.
